Calpe, dominated by the Penon de Ifach
Rock, is a former fortified fishing village
which has developed into a popular relaxed family resort which has something
for just about everyone. The beaches are wide and safe with children’s play
areas. There are plenty of well stocked shops and a market that runs in the
evenings in the summer along the promenade.
